No. I have a private personal training studio on the 7th floor of Springfield's Plaza Towers. At the intersection of Sunshine & Glenstone. No onlookers allowed. Just private, one-on-one training in a quiet, low-stress training environment.
Gosh no. Quite the contrary. I'm actually somewhat selective about who I take on as a client. If you decide training with me isn't for you, no hard feelings at all.
Once a week training is just $195 per month. Two workouts per week is $295 per month. Three training sessions a week is $395 a month. I've been told I'm one of the more affordable trainers in Springfield, even though I'm also one of the most experienced in town, and have a private personal training studio, rather than having clients train with me in a public gym. Plus, if you train with a spouse, partner, or friend, I'll work in a nice little discount for both of you.
No. All training is on a simple month-to-month basis. You are free to cease training at any time for any reason.
Absolutely! In fact, I give a nice little discount for that.
Yes I do. I am both a trainer and diet coach. Granted, not everyone follows my diet advice, and I can't control what clients eat when I'm not around. But I'm always more than willing to help you better optimize your diet and fat loss program. In a manner that's actually doable for YOU over the long-term.
I train adults of all ages. But most of my clients are between the ages of 40 and 60. I'm age 60 myself, so I bring a level of understanding and empathy for my "older" clients that's mighty hard to get from a 20-something year old trainer.
Training sessions are between 25 to 30 minutes per-session. We get a lot done in that short time period. The workouts are resistance training based workouts, utilizing a combination of bodyweight and free weight exercises which properly and safely train all your body's major muscles. We generally use somewhat higher rep ranges for the various exercises to avoid excess wear and tear on your joints, spine, and connective tissues. I also place a very strong emphasis on low back and general core strength. These are NOT bodybuilding workouts, but rather geared towards general all-around fitness, and looking fit and athletic rather than mega "swole" looking.
Once you're in shape enough, I will move you fairly quickly from exercise to exercise during your workouts under my supervision. Not quite as quickly as high intensity interval training workouts (HIIT), because that would result in subpar gains in strength and lean muscle tissue, but still fairly quickly. Quickly enough that there's a definite cardiovascular element to the resistance training workouts my clients are put through. Throw in 7,000 to 10,000 steps of low-impact walking on the days you don't train with me, and you're likely good-to-go, in terms of optimizing your cardiovascular health via exercise.
